Welcome to our Highlights!
Here at Spanish Wells, there is always fun to be had by all ages. From enjoying mornings on the course and the courts to relaxing with a glass of wine and taking in the sunsets on our beautiful back deck, there is something here for everyone! Check out all that is happening at S.W.C below!
Message from the G.M.
Dear Members,
The first quarter has been outstanding—thank you to everyone who has participated in events, and welcome to our new members. Your continued engagement makes this Club a special place.
Clubhouse Renovation & Finances
Renovation plans are available in the Calibogue Room. We’ve engaged an architect, retained a builder, and are receiving positive feedback from the bank. While increases in dues and assessments are necessary, they will support the club's long-term future.
Bank partnership now in place
Estimated $45–$55/month assessment for a limited term
Clubhouse rentals have resumed to generate revenue
We are also exploring an optional upfront assessment payment and will share details soon.
Golf Course & Grounds
Recent rain and warmer temperatures are helping the course recovery. Cart path improvements will begin gradually—thank you for your patience.
Tennis & Pickleball
Thanks to Glenn, Hannah, and Rolando, the courts remain in excellent condition.
A special thank you to Stan Smith for another successful event with over 150 participants—we look forward to next year.
Pool & Cabana
Upcoming improvements include a new gate and filter system (a brief closure is required). The pool is now open 7 days a week, year-round.
Dock, Deck & View
Thank you to Tom Sullivan and Kip Horton for dock repairs. The back deck will soon feature new umbrellas and fans, and the improved view has been widely appreciated
Social Events & Dining
Events continue to sell out—please sign up early. Friday nights feature rotating member activities.
Chef Taylor and Perry have elevated the dining experience—don’t miss Steak Night.
Summer junior programs are in development.
Rules, Etiquette & Safety
To ensure fairness and safety:
Please check in and start on Hole No. 1
No underage cart driving (insurance requirement)
No unsafe range behavior or riding e-bikes/scooters on Club property
Respectful conduct toward members and staff is expected
We aim to preserve the Club’s relaxed and friendly culture—your cooperation is essential.

From the Superintendent
Our beautiful course is doing very well and is currently in great shape. Our crew has done a wonderful job of getting the course in optimal condition for the enjoyment of our members and will continue to do so. We kindly ask that members continue to help maintain the course by repairing divots and ball marks on the greens, and be sure to rake the sand traps. Pre-emerge is scheduled for March 16th. Thank you!

Summer Junior Sports Camps

S.W.C Food & Beverage and Social Events
Holbrook Grill
Come and enjoy a delicious meal prepared by our fantastic chefs at the clubhouse every Wednesday through Sunday. Each day, there will be a featured special as well as a variety of items on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Come and order between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:30 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and come and enjoy our new hours for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of 11:00 am to 8:00 pm going forward!
Friday Night Socials
Every Friday night, our chefs prepare a themed dinner for the enjoyment of our members, their families, and friends that you do not want to miss! Please join us at the club, enjoy a gourmet meal, and watch the sunset over the Calibougue Sound. Friday night socials begin at 4:30 pm and run until 8:00 pm.
